Mechanical Keyboard Switches
Choose mechanical keyboard switches based on the sound, resistance and feedback you want from every keypress. The TAVNIXO switch collection includes smooth linear switches for uninterrupted travel, quiet silent switches for shared rooms and late-night use, and tactile switches that provide a noticeable bump for typing feedback. Light operating forces can reduce finger fatigue, while heavier or more tactile options provide greater control and confirmation.
Compare operating force, pre-travel, total travel, housing materials, factory lubrication and mounting style before selecting a switch. Three-pin switches fit many hot-swappable boards, while five-pin switches add PCB alignment pins for compatible layouts; the extra plastic pins may need to be clipped for some three-pin plates or PCBs. Pack sizes are available for small projects and complete keyboards: 35 switches suit macropads or partial builds, 70 cover many 60% and 65% boards, 90 suit most TKL layouts, and 110 cover most full-size keyboards with spares. Always confirm PCB socket, plate and keycap compatibility before ordering.
